SqBound Commander

Command a Runner of the Perfect SqEmpire in an unfinished but playable browser prototype about control, survival, magic, loot, and hostile geometry.

Directions

1. Create your Runner

When the game first loads, open the App Setup tab and create/select your Runner.

2. Start from View

After your Runner exists, go to the View tab to begin watching the run.

3. Tune and observe

The game is about setup, automation, observation, and iteration. You are not directly piloting the Runner.

4. Debug seals

This demo still includes a debug feature that can spawn seals into the stash. Seals can be bound to equipment to add extra modifiers.

Lore

The Perfect SqEmpire believes control brings perfection, and perfection ensures survival. Across the sea, a many-sided force has emerged: chaotic, adaptive, and unwilling to conform.

To answer the threat, the Empire binds Runners to Combat Mages. The Runner moves, fights, endures, and dies badly when left alone. The Scryer watches from afar, bends the battlefield, and decides whether the Runner survives.

This is not a heroic partnership. It is control through necessity. The Empire calls it survival. The Runner may have other words for it.

Prototype Notes

SqBound Commander is unfinished, but it is not dead. It is a working prototype with a lot of systems already present: autonomous runs, equipment, seals, stash behavior, class systems, enemies, logs, and setup surfaces.

The current demo exists as a playable snapshot, not a final release. Some features may be rough, incomplete, oddly balanced, or left visible for testing.
